SBI CLERK ONLINE EXAM STRUCTURE
SBI Clerk Exam Is conducted in 2 stages Preliminary and Mains exam. There is no Interview in SBI Clerk Selection process
SBI Clerk Preliminary Written examination structure
- Math (35 Questions | 35 marks | 20 min)
- Reasoning (35 Questions | 35 marks | 20 min)
- English (30 Questions | 30 marks | 20 min)
Duration of Exam – Time is 1 hour.
SBI Clerk Mains Written examination structure
- General English (40 Questions | 40 marks | 35 Min)
- Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions | 50 marks | 45 Min)
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50 Questions | 60 marks | 45 Min)
- General / Financial Awareness ( 50 Questions | 50 marks | 35 Min)
So there are total 190 Qn ,200 marks and 160 Min in SBI Clerk mains exam. There is negative marking also in preliminary and mains exam which is 1/4th. Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be decided by the bank. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are required in Sbi clerk exam.

STATE BANK OF INDIA – Probationary OFFICER- (SBI PO Exam) Is conducted in 3 stages Preliminary ,Mains exam and Interview and group Discussion exam is Qualifying in nature only.
SBI PO Preliminary Written examination structure
- Math (35 Questions | 35 marks | 20 min)
- Reasoning (35 Questions | 35 marks | 20 min)
- English (30 Questions | 30 marks | 20 min)
Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary Exam to call for mains exam. There will be no sectional cut-off in pre exam. There is negative marking in SBI PO preliminary exam which is 1/4th.
SBI PO Mains Written examination structure
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (40 Questions | 50 marks | 50 Min)
- Data analysis & interpretation (30 Questions | 50 marks | 45 Min)
- General / Economy / Banking Awareness (50 Questions | 60 marks | 45 Min)
- General English (35 Questions | 40 marks | 40 Min)
So there are total 155 Question, 200 marks and 180 Min in IBPS PO mains exam. There is negative marking which is 1/4th. There will be no sectional cut-off in the exam
There is descriptive paper of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) – (2 Qn,50 marks,30 Min)
SBI PO 2022 Interview Process
Candidates who qualify the SBI PO Mains Exam are finally called for the Interview Process and Group Discussion . Group Discussion – 20 marks, Interview – 30 marks.
Final Selection in SBI PO Exam
The final selection is made on the basis of combined score of Mains Exam and the interview and GD process. The weightage of both these phases of examination will be in the ratio 75:25 respectively.
